On the way home from dance class..

Emily: Mom the black girl in class just pointed at me.

Me: She was probably pointing at you because you are so pretty and such a good dancer.

Emily: No mom she was pointing at me b/c she doesn't like me.

Me: Why wouldn't she like you? Were you mean to her?

Emily: No, she just probably thought I should have been born brown

On the way to dance class....

On the way to ballet class Emily was chewing her gum with her mouth open. I told her when she chews like that she looks like a cow. Her response was

"Have you ever seen a cow in a car seat?"

"Look mom I'm a baby cow in a car seat"
